Everything You Need to Know Before You Ride!
What Should You Bring?
To make the most of your wake surf or wakeboard experience, be sure to bring a swimsuit, towel, and plenty of sunscreen! We also recommend sunglasses, a hat, and a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated. If you have your own wetsuit or life jacket, feel free to bring it, but we’ve got you covered with all the necessary gear. Get ready for an epic day on the water!
Is Wake Surfing Safe? Absolutely!
Yes! Wake surfing is a low-impact water sport, making it safer than many other board sports. Falls happen at low speeds, reducing the risk of injury, and our expert instructors are there to guide you every step of the way. With the right techniques and safety gear, wake surfing is a fun and safe experience for all skill levels!
What If the Weather is Bad?
We want you to have the best experience possible, so if poor weather conditions prevent us from hitting the water, we offer a $75/hour refund policy for any unused time. Safety is our top priority, and we’ll work with you to reschedule or refund as needed. Don’t worry—we’ll make sure you get your time on the waves!
Can I Surf with My Own Boat? Absolutely!
Yes! If you have your own boat, we offer custom coaching sessions to help you fine-tune your wake surfing skills using your own setup. Our expert instructors will guide you on boat setup, wave optimization, and technique improvements to make the most of your ride. Let’s take your surfing to the next level—on your terms!
Do I Need Prior Experience? Nope!
Whether you’re a first-time rider or an experienced surfer, we welcome all skill levels! Our expert instructors provide personalized coaching to help beginners get up and riding while also refining techniques for seasoned riders. No experience? No problem! What Are Weekends Like On Greenwood Lake?
Weekends on Greenwood Lake: High Energy & Excitement!
Greenwood Lake comes alive on weekends, offering an energetic and electric atmosphere—perfect for those who love a lively vibe! However, with more boats on the water, conditions can get choppy and busy, especially between 11 AM and 4 PM.
Wakeboarding & Wake Surfing: Still possible on weekends, but we recommend going early in the morning or later in the evening for smoother conditions.
Water Skiing: Best enjoyed during calm waters, so weekdays or off-peak hours are ideal.
Busiest Time (11 AM - 4 PM on Weekends): If this is your only option, we strongly recommend it for intermediate to advanced riders due to the increased boat traffic. That said, the weekend energy is unbeatable—if you’re looking for an exciting, social, and high-energy experience, this is the time to hit the water!
What Are Weekdays Like On Greenwood Lake?
